Because of growing populations, more people living in cities, and higher incomes, the demand for food has changed both quantity quality. This sped up growth different agricultural production distribution chains. The necessary transition processes agri-food sectors, however, can often take a very long time to complete have negative social environmental effects, which puts traditional development paradigm into question. study looked at trends affecting systems addition viability sustainable Indian agriculture. In order identify then prioritize related issues facing this comprised thorough examination literature. Experts were consulted rank identified according their degree impact on system with use an integrated “Best-Worst-Method (BWM)” “Step-Wise Assessment Ratio-Analysis (SWARA)” approach. associated major ranked using BWM method, revealed that “Issues lack innovative systems” rated first level was followed by stability availability food; Issues climate change natural disasters; Food-governance-related issues; accessing utilizing food”, accordingly. results will help developing appropriate intervention techniques various service levels formulating policies, taking competent governments consideration.
